Iphone’s Headphones Secrets

Got an Iphone? How about its headphone? Do you know you can control some stuffs in your Iphone using the three simple buttons found in your headphone? Well if not, this page is for you. Apple’s standard earphone is consist of 3 simple button the plus(+), the center, and the minus(-). If you do not have an apple earphone, you can also use other earphones as long as it has these three-button

And I will use this button to create a ‘combo’ tips to manoeuvre some Iphone/Ipod/IPad functions.
All we know about these buttons are: to skip music, answer a phone call, and to increase/decrease the volume. But I tell you, these buttons have still some functions. So let’s start

Legend:
SP = Short Press then release
LP = Long Press then release (probably 2 seconds time interval)
C = Center
A = (+) sign of the earphone
B = (-) sign of the earphone

THE BASIC COMBO 
  • To Pause a song: SP(C) = meaning short press the center button once 
  •  To Fast Forward: SP(C) + LP(C)
  •  To Rewind a song: SP(C) + SP(C) + LP(C)
  • Skip a song: SP(C) + SP(C)
  •  Return to a previous song: SP(C) + SP(C) + SP(C)

THE INTERMEDIATE COMBO
  • To answer a call/to finish a call: SP(C)
  • To ignore incoming call: LP(C)
  • When on call, and want to answer the new incoming call: SP(C)
a.       To hangup the new answered call and switch back: LP(C)

THE ULTIMATE COMBO
  • Taking a photo: SP(A)
  •  To activate SIRI: LP(C) + say your command
